Homeless Helpers

Homeless Helpers Ministry goals are to serve the homeless in the Indianapolis area by meeting physical needs such as food, clothing and blankets, in addition to developing relationships to meet social and spiritual needs.

Donations of the following items are taken at the church to provide to the homeless:

• Sweatshirts
• Sweatpants
• Jackets
• Blankets
• Socks
• Small toothpaste
• Disposable razors
• Shampoo

If you've been wondering how you can help the needy and homeless living on our Indianapolis streets, perhaps making up a few Love Bags might provide the answer. Putting together Love Bags with your children is a rewarding way to increase their sensitivity to the needs of others.

NZT Love Bag Suggestions:

• Pop-top can of fruit or fruit cocktail
• Pop-top can of Vienna sausage, tuna, ravioli, beef stew, etc.
• Small can or carton of juice
• Package of cheese and crackers or peanut butter and crackers
• Fruit roll ups
• Granola bars
• Napkin and plastic fork
• Moist towelette
• Bus tokens (for getting to doctor, church, etc.)
